Every year, around Christmas, my wife will ask me the same question, "What would you like for your Christmas."
On a few occasions I have requested for a new gadget and happy as I was to get a cool new toy, it would have been better if it had been a complete surprise gift but since she is not a gadget lover herself, she is usually clueless when it comes to the latest and coolest gadgets.
Hence I came up with this gadget gift guide. A simple list of 10 gadget gift ideas that are guaranteed to delight even the most discerning gadget lover. For each idea there is a short description of it, why I think it is a cool gadget and lastly a suggestion of the ideal gadget lover to give it to.
This guide will not cover really popular gadgets such as the new iPad, iPhone 5 or Google Nexus 7 as you can easily find information on these gadgets all over the internet. What you will find here are slightly more obscure gadgets I personally selected to delight all kinds of gadget lovers, from those that are young at heart to fitness freaks to those who love to cook.

Nike+ FuelBand - Make Life A Sport
What Is It?
The Nike+ FuelBand is a band that you wear around your wrist. It has an accelerometer that keeps track of your daily activities such as walking, running, dancing or even when you are playing your favorite sports.
What Is So Cool About It?
Your activity is converted by the FuelBand into a numerical score that Nike calls NikeFuel. Nike+ FuelBand motivates you to be active by allowing you to set a NikeFuel goal for yourself. Challenge yourself to meet your NikeFuel goal every day and try to maintain a streak for as long as you can.
Data collected on the FuelBand can be uploaded to either a PC via the built-in USB connector or your iOS device via Bluetooth to visualize your results. You can even upload your progress or challenge others to beat your NikeFuel score to add a little social element.
Nike+ FuelBand can be used to keep track of your calories burned, number of steps taken and last but not least, it is also a watch.
